Recently the Sci Fi channel aired a reimagined version of the Wizard of Oz, called Tin Man. It was a three part mini-series, and it was INCREDIBLE.
I was impressed as to the number of nods the mini-series gave to the old movie, in character quotes and minor details. However, the thing I loved most about it was the deeper exploration of the peoples and customs of Oz, or the O.Z.
