As many of you already know, I am a modern druid. What does this mean?
The short answer is that I firmly beleive that there is an intelligent, guiding force to the universe, and that it is my place as a Druid to learn about, and come into synch with, my environment, to better serve my fellow humans. There is so much more to it than that, but that is a good basic statement of what it means to be a druid.
I am also a Christian, though I do no identify with any contemporary Christian church. I follow the basic precepts of Christianity, and recognize Christ's divinity, but I don't quote the bible as if it were absolute. Another point I diverge from Christianity on is that I've always identified God as a more feminine than masculine deity. The combination of incredible wrath and unconditional love in a single entity just smacks of a woman....
